The basic principle: Bonuses are always used automatically – at the moment when the total amount of gold purchased, together with the gold purchased for the equivalent of all accumulated bonuses will be at least 1 ounce (31.1 grams), thus allowing you to collect a 1 ounce gold bar.

How do I use a referral link or code?

Any Goldsaver user can, after accepting the terms and conditions of the referral program, generate himself a code and a referral link.

Each user who registers using a code or link receives a bonus of PLN 100, calculated automatically according to the rules described in this article and in the terms and conditions. For more on how the bonus works, see below for specific examples.

Registration using the code

After clicking on the “Register” button in the upper right corner of the store, a window with a registration form opens. Under the box for accepting the terms and conditions and privacy policy is the question “Do you have a referral code?”. When you click on “Use it!” a window for the referral code will appear.

Registration using a referral link

Once you enter the Goldsaver.co.uk store through the referral link and click the “Register” button, the code will complete automatically.

How do you know that the code/link worked properly?

The easiest way to check this is by going to the “My bonuses” tab, where the amount of the accrued bonus is visible.

You will also receive an email confirming your participation in the promotion.

What if we registered without a code?

You may miss the window to enter the code, or you may receive the code/referral link after you have already registered. Is it possible to use the code when the account is already established? There is, but only if no transaction has been made yet.

Examples of bonus usage

Matthew – registered with the store and received a bonus of PLN 100

Matthew got a referral code for the Goldsaver store from his friend. He used it during registration and received a bonus of 100 zloty.

The bonus will be used automatically when the total amount of gold purchased by Matthew, together with gold purchased for the equivalent of all the bonuses he has accumulated, amounts to at least 1 ounce (31.1 grams), thus allowing him to collect a 1 ounce gold bar.

Matthew bought gold regularly over the following months until he accumulated a total of 30 grams.

Thus, he is still 1.1 grams of gold short of the bar. Matthew has a bonus of PLN 100, however, on a given day price of gold in the Goldsaver store would allow him to buy 0.35 grams of gold for that amount, not the missing 1.1 grams of gold.

Matthew therefore decides to buy 1 more gram of gold. So he already has 31 grams, and he is only 0.1 grams short of the bar. At this point Matthew’s bonus is automatically used up and 0.35 grams of gold are bought for its equivalent.

Matthew thus has a total of 31.35 grams of gold. And that means he already has a bar (31.1 grams of gold) that he can physically collect, and he also has the remaining 0.25 grams of gold (because 31.35 – 31.1 = 0.25) that he can use to collect for another bar or that he can sell.

Magda – actively recommends the store to friends and gets extra bonuses for it

Magda buys gold regularly from the Goldsaver store and already has 29 grams of gold.

Magda is also actively promoting the store to her family and friends, providing them with her referral codes. She has already convinced 30 people who have registered and who have also started buying gold from the store. Each of them has already bought gold for at least 200 zlotys, so Magda got 30 additional bonuses, each worth 20 zlotys.

Magda therefore has 29 grams of gold and additional bonuses worth a total of 600 gold.

The bonuses will be used automatically when the total amount of gold purchased by Magda, together with the gold purchased for the equivalent of all the bonuses Magda has accumulated (i.e. currently PLN 600) amounts to at least 1 ounce (31.1 grams), thus allowing her to receive a 1 ounce gold bar.

Magda is short of 2.1 grams of gold for the bar (because the whole bar is 31.1 grams, and Magda already has 29 grams of gold). On a given day, the price of gold in the Goldsaver store would allow her to buy – for the equivalent of the accumulated bonuses – 2.1 grams of gold, which is exactly what she needs to collect 1 ounce of gold (that is, 31.1 grams)….

So the bonus is automatically used and Magda already has 31.1 grams of gold in her customer account at the store. Magda can already collect her gold bar.
